Beaufort students could soon use iPads in class

BEAUFORT, SC (WTOC)- The Beaufort City Council is reviewing a decision to
give nearly 7,000 students iPads.

The City Council
will consider the pros and cons of that decision Tuesday and discuss whether
they are really beneficial to the students.

Middle school students received new iPads in the
classroom last school year, as part of the school district's iPad initiative.
