For some families, feeding their pets can become too much during hard economic times.

A new donation based program called, Pet Food Stamps, is now offering help buying pet food and supplies.

Beaufort YMCA Puppy Plunge kick-off set for Oct. 6

BEAUFORT, SC (WTOC) - The YMCA of Beaufort County will hold a unique event just for your furry friends.

The kick-off to this year’s Puppy Plunge event will be Oct. 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the YMCA of Beaufort County, located at 1801 Richmond Avenue in Port Royal. Following the free kick-off, the event will continue on the first Saturday of each consecutive month for a cost of only $5 per canine.

Ruby Tuesday, PAL team up for fund-raiser

BEAUFORT, SC (WTOC) - The Beaufort Ruby Tuesday and Palmetto Animal League are offering a GiveBack Council every Thursday in June to benefit the animal organization.

Ruby Tuesday will donate 20 percent of your check to Palmetto Animal League. Just ask your server for a PAL GiveBack Coupon. The event takes place at the Ruby Tuesday at 346 Robert Smalls Pkwy at the Cross Creek Shopping Center in Beaufort.
