Beaufort holds community yard sale for dogs in foster care | News

BEAUFORT CO., SC (WTOC)- A community comnig together Saturday afternoon to help feed dogs in foster care.

Beaufort dog hosted a community-wide yard sale with the proceeds going towards helping local area dogs that are in foster care.

Its a project that the organization hopes gets all these dogs one step closer to being adopted.

"We have always promoted fostering," said Kelley Blackson, owner of Beaufort Dog Inc.

"It means that the dogs are not in the shelter, they're in a real home and that helps them transition to go to their forever home, they already have the social skills, they already know what its like to be a part of a family, and it really helps a lot."
