BEAUFORT, SC (WTOC)- On Saturday, faculty members, students and volunteers woke up bright and early to prepare the Beaufort High School campus for the upcoming fall sports season.
It's part of the "Big Green Booster Club", which is aimed at cleaning the high school campus and stadium complex, all while bringing the community together.
"It's meant to kind of put the community and school back together as one," said Mike Ingram of the Booster Club.
"We try to create some relationships with our local businesses. Volunteers, faculty and everyone trying to get everyone back and creating a sense of pride into Beaufort High School again."
The group carried our chores like spreading mulch, repainting goal posts, cleaning and stocking the concession stand and much more.
