Renovation work starts on Beaufort County courthouse | News

BEAUFORT CO., SC (WTOC)- The Beaufort County Courthouse is being renovated.

Work began on the $13 million
project last week in order to fix water damage.

Crews will be removing the exterior of the building,
including the roof and the outside doors and windows. The entrance and back
balcony will also get a new look.

Courthouse visitors are asked to park in the main lot
and walk on the sidewalk between the courthouse and administration building and
follow the detour signs.
