High on the Hog barbecue festival set for weekend

BEAUFORT, SC (WTOC) - The Habitat for Humanity in Beaufort is holding its second annual High on the Hog barbecue festival.

This year the funds raised will go to a house project being built for a U.S. army veteran and his family. The festival is this Friday and Saturday. Last year, it drew more than 1,200 people in two days.

Movie club season starts Saturday

BEAUFORT, SC (WTOC) - Registration is now underway for the 39th Beaufort Police Dept. movie club.

Children ages 5 through 12 get to meet at Plaza 8 theaters in Beaufort from 9-11:30 a.m. each Saturday this summer. The movie club starts up for the season on June 8. There will be a movie, prizes and a brief presentation on safety from Beaufort Police Dept.
